Fine Wood Boxes

Boxes for Puerto Rico

(Please scroll down to see updated information and fundraising opportunities.)

On September 20, 2017, the Island of Puerto Rico was devastated by Hurricane Maria. For many years I have followed the progress of Eye On The Rainforest/Tropic Ventures, LLC/Las Casas de la Selva who practice sustainable forestry in PR. I have been happy to buy and use blue mahoe and mahogany lumber from them. Hurricane Maria devastated their forests and their facilities. You can learn more about their programs and the damage done by the hurricane here. I encourage you to join me in contributing to their recovery here.

I want to make a difference, and you can help. I have made five boxes of beautiful Blue Mahoe wood from Puerto Rico. I will be contributing the proceeds from the sale of these boxes to this fundraiser.  All five of the boxes have been sold, thank you to everyone who made a purchase.!
This fundraiser has ended.

Want to make a really significant difference? I have a Blue Mahoe Halfmoon Box that is ready to finish. The wood is rough turned, dry, and ready to be completed. The price of the box will be $3000, and I will contribute $2000 of that to the cause. obviously, I don't have photos of the box, since it hasn't been made yet. But, I will post some images of similar boxes below to give you an idea of what it would look like. Also, you could have input on the selection of wood for the pulls or fins. If you are interested, give me a call or send me an email and we will talk!
