Last July I posted about a log that I picked up during a paddle trip down the French Broad River. The wood has been air drying in my shop since then, and it is now dry and ready to use. Today I did some milling, cutting and laying out. Below are some photos of the results, click on any of the thumbnails for larger images.
There is enough wood to make the following boxes:
- (4) BX-04, 5" x 7" x 1.75", $105 each.
- (2) BX-03, 5" x 8" x 1.75", $110 each. Brian has reserved one of these.
- (2) BX-06, 6.5" x 9" x 2.75", $185-$210 each. Angie has first refusal on one of these, and John P. has the second one.
- (1) BX-08, 6.5" x 10" x 2.75, $220. Erin has first refusal on this box.
- (1) BX-16, 8" x 9" x 3.25", $295-$320.
- (1) BX-17, 8" x 15" x 3.25", $375-$425.
